Shaping Modernity: Design 1880–1980

The Museum of Modern Art is showing an entire a century of design which covers everything from typography, posters, objects and appliances. The museum houses a huge design collection, including Art Nouveau works, the graphic design movement of 1927–1937 and works that focus on the relationship of machine, body and mind from the 1920s- the early 1940s.
