Central Park SummerStage 2010

Central Park SummerStage 2010 is continuing its annual tradition which offers an entire summer schedule packed with hot concerts from amazing contemporary artists at practically no cost to visitors. The Stage will feature the best in music, films, dance, readings, comedic acts and more. The shows will begin on June 1, 2010 and continue through September 26, 2010. Be sure to check out the free performances which include genres ranging from modern dance to Latin beats to hip hop. The benefit concerts (which require an admission ticket) hosts a great line-up including The Black Keys, The Flaming Lips, Gov't Mule, and Pavement.

Summer Flicks in Bryant Park

Nothing sounds like summer more than a picnic and movies in the park in New York City. Lay under the stars on the lawn and enjoy a classic feature films presented by Warner Bros. Enjoy refreshments, snacks and meals from the Bryant Park food kiosks located around the park and stake out a spot before dusk.

Of Sugar & Snow: A History of Ice Cream Making

The perfect summertime refresher, ice-cream will be the star of the show in “Of Sugar & Snow” which portrays the various stages of ice-cream making. Author Jeri Quinzio will take visitors through the commercial success of the sweet treat followed by an ice-cream tasting.
